Dear Team—

I know you all just finished your town hall - I trust you’re as thrilled as I am with the recent updates. Previously I shared you all a note, I expressed the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most motivated and innovative designers we have had the opportunity to collaborate with - and we’re eager for that relationship to endure.”

Given your hard work and flexibility, especially over the last year, you consistently demonstrate that.

The player input from last fall’s the game playtest was revealing. It confirmed the promise of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had refinements needed. It revealed the necessity for a more distinct identity.

It has been motivating to see how far you’ve come. You took the feedback to heart and revamped Project ETHOS with a revitalized goal - one that’s positioned to deliver on its potential to our players.

The trust in Project ETHOS grows every day. To further the incredible advancement you’ve made, It is a pleasure to introduce Ben Brinkman as the new Director of 31st Union. After a period of conversations, he starts with us on next week.

His leadership and expertise in the PVP shooter field is considerable, having spent the last 15 years developing and leading some of the most well-known series in the industry, such as the acclaimed shooter, and lately, the battle royale hit.
