I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
